We are a non-profit organization that was established in 2019 with a mission to help people in our community become self-sufficient by assisting with eliminating barriers that prevent marginalized groups from reaching success.

OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Crystal Adams-Williams
Born and raised in Compton, CA has spent her entire academic career focusing on ways to improve the academic, social, and emotional experience of people in her community, especially the youth.
She earned her BA from CSUDH, followed by her teaching credential, masters in curriculum and instruction, and second masters in education administration, and lastly her doctorate in K-12 leadership from the university of Southern, California. Her lifelong dedication has been to create programs that eliminate the barriers that exists for marginalized communities to help them reach optimal success.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
A New Beginning Resource Center is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating a safe space for youth that allows them to identify their best self. We create programs and provide services that bridge the gap of the youth's needs and their goals. Our programs and services include but are not limited to after school tutoring, individual and group therapy, financial literacy, job-seeking support, meals, as well as life skills. We are dedicated to creating a New Beginning for the youth in Compton.
